The Foundation was launched after the Founder Tammie Lang Campbell's Honey Brown children’s book series was turned into a play, “Honey Brown in Search of Her Identity.” Since then, the Founder has written and produced productions and dramatic presentations that create a platform for young people to showcase talent, while promoting Foundation's causes and initiatives, messages of Hope and healthy self worth.

Below are snippets from the “Honey Brown in Search of Her Identity” play, and the “Sir Brown’s Ruff Ryde to Vote” teleplay that aired on My20Houston and Comcast’s Houston Independent School District channel throughout Black History Month in 2009, and again on Houston’s Municipal Channel, HTV, leading up to 2015 November elections.
